Development Trend Of Agricultural Machinery
The development of agricultural machinery is directly related to the economic conditions of the country and the countryside. In developed countries, especially in the United States where there is little agricultural labor, agricultural machinery continues to develop in the direction of large-scale, wide-width, high-speed and high-productivity, and gradually transitions to the automation of the production process on the basis of mechanization. Various advanced scientific and technological technologies such as electronic technology and microcomputer technology are increasingly widely used in agricultural machinery products and their design and manufacturing. In animal husbandry, especially the chicken industry has entered the stage of factory-based continuous production, and closed chicken houses with automatic microclimate control are a new development in animal husbandry machinery.
In field operation machinery, automatic control devices that combine hydraulic and electrical control, or directly use electrical or electromagnetic control, have begun to be used, such as the lifting control of the harvesting platform on the grain combine harvester and the stepless speed change of the reel. The variety of electronic monitoring instruments is increasing, such as the sowing uniformity monitor on the seeding machine, the grain loss monitor and the drum speed monitor on the grain combine harvester, and the spray width and spray volume monitor on the sprayer. Electronic technology is increasingly used in mechanical equipment such as automatic grading of vegetables and fruits and automatic management of field irrigation.
China still focuses on the development of small and medium-sized agricultural machinery. The key development projects are agricultural machinery varieties with high economic benefits, which can improve the ability to resist natural disasters, ensure stable and high yields, and increase production and income, such as irrigation and drainage, plant protection and fertilization machinery. Mechanical varieties used for diversified operations in rural areas will be greatly developed, such as various agricultural and sideline product processing machinery and livestock breeding machinery, as well as mechanical equipment such as beekeeping, sericulture, pond fish farming and edible fungus cultivation.
The energy conservation of agricultural machinery and the development of various energy sources for agriculture are receiving more and more attention. The development trend is: ① Reduce the fuel consumption of internal combustion engines by improving the combustion process, recycling and utilizing waste gas and cooling water heat. ② Internal combustion engines that use vegetable oil, alcohol and biogas to obtain fuel from agricultural and sideline products or rural waste, as well as dual-fuel internal combustion engines that can change the fuel used. ③ Use solar energy, geothermal energy and waste heat from thermal power stations to dry grains and other agricultural products, or use them in heating systems for greenhouses and livestock houses. ④ Use wind power to generate electricity and pump water, etc.
