Type
According to whether its support can be moved, it is divided into fixed, mobile and lifting types. The left and right supports of the fixed traction seat are fastened to the traction seat base by bolts, and the base of the traction seat is fixed to the beam of the tractor. The fixed type is the most widely used one. There are many styles of mobile traction seats, and the structure is almost the same as the fixed type. The main thing is that the connection method between the traction seat base and the tractor beam adopts a multi-hole or toothed design. The base of the traction seat can be moved forward and backward according to the needs of connecting the trailer, so as to smoothly connect with different trailers. Some mobile towing wheels are also equipped with automatic air pressure control devices, which can push the towing wheel forward and backward in the slideway through air pressure. According to the degree of freedom, there are single degree of freedom and double degree of freedom. Single degree of freedom towing wheels are also called single-axle towing wheels. They can only tilt longitudinally by about 80 degrees. This type of towing wheel has high driving stability and is suitable for high-speed, light-loaded and high-center-of-gravity semi-trailers traveling on good roads. The disadvantage is that since it cannot swing laterally, the torque on the frame is relatively large. Double degree of freedom towing wheels are also called double-axle towing wheels. They can swing laterally and longitudinally, which can protect the frame of heavy-duty transport tractors under different road conditions. Generally, double-axle towing wheels are much higher than single-axle towing wheels, and their lateral stability is poor during high-speed turning, so this type of towing wheel is rarely used in ordinary road transportation.
